About Our Practice

Smile Columbia Dentistry is a locally owned family business serving Columbia, South Carolina, for the second generation. We have deep ties to the community as we have helped countless South Carolinians with TMJ treatment. Many of our patients have traveled from outside the Palmetto State to benefit from Dr. Hahn’s extensive education and training. Due to the complex nature of TMJ diagnosis and treatment, not many dentists in the Columbia area have Dr. Hahn’s level of expertise in these areas.

Dr. Hahn grew up witnessing his father’s dedication to his own dental practice daily; however, the younger Dr. Hahn didn’t just want to inherit his father’s dental practice; he wanted to continue to make Smile Columbia Dentistry the best dental office it could be, introducing new technology and techniques that have come about in recent years. One of the most exciting aspects of improving people’s smiles is that it constantly evolves, with new methods being developed regularly. Transforming our patients’ smiles never gets old, and we take great pride in being able to do it every day.

Dr. Adam Hahn has received a prestigious Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) fellowship in recognition of his commitment to exceeding the minimum required level of continuing education. He also completed a fellowship in Orofacial Pain Management and Neuromuscular Occlusion led by Dr. Jay Gerber at the Center for Occlusal Studies in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Dr. Hahn is also one of only seven dentists to earn the title of LVI Fellow in South Carolina and is one of the only LVI Fellows in all of Columbia. LVI is the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the premier institution in the world for studying neuromuscular dentistry and TMJ treatment.
